…It was another entry, another chapter in the ongoing saga of the Westend Casebook. And as I wrote, I knew, with a weary certainty, that there would be more. There always were. The fight for justice, the relentless pursuit of truth, was a journey without an end, a constant, quiet battle waged in the shadows of the city. The Westend had its quiet, but I carried the echoes of the storm within me, a silent promise to keep watch, to keep listening, to keep writing. The casebook was closed, but the story of human nature, in all its complexity and darkness, continued. And I, Jamonte Cooper, would be there to bear witness.
