She closed her eyes, reaching deep within herself, feeling the vibrant pulse of the Sanctuary, the ancient strength of the trees, the life force of every living thing around her. She focused her intent, not on destruction, but on protection, on growth, on life itself. As the dark energy struck, Elara opened her eyes. Before her, a wall of living, verdant energy erupted from the ground. Vines, thick as a man’s arm, twisted and coiled, interwoven with luminous flowers that pulsed with a blinding light. The dark tendrils recoiled, hissing and spitting as they met the vibrant, life-affirming magic. The battle had begun.
