…Then, the ground beneath them began to descend. A ramp, leading downwards, into the belly of the earth. The masked men, their grip like iron, herded them forward, their unspoken threat echoing louder than any shouted command. The descent continued, deeper and deeper, until the last vestiges of the outside world were swallowed whole, leaving them in a chilling, suffocating darkness, the true nature of their imprisonment yet to be revealed.
