…The kingdom, she knew, would be bewildered. Her father, perhaps, heartbroken. Captain Borin, undoubtedly, apoplectic. But as she looked out at the vast, star-dusted expanse of the night sky, Aurelia felt not the weight of her decision, but the lightness of wings. The jester, with his glorious, unscripted fall, had shown her that the greatest fulfillment wasn't found in avoiding mistakes, but in the courage to make them, to learn from them, and to laugh all the way. The perfect princess was finally ready to embrace the beautifully imperfect woman she was meant to be.
