The fear hadn’t vanished entirely, but it no longer felt like an insurmountable wall. It was more like a shadow, something I could acknowledge and move past. I was still nervous, still aware of the immense challenge ahead, but for the first time in weeks, I felt a flicker of genuine hope. I wasn’t just trying to impress someone else anymore; I was trying to connect with myself, to find the dancer I was meant to be, not the one I thought I should be. And in that small shift, there was a world of difference.
