…I sighed and settled back against the pillows, the weight of the situation pressing down on me. The house felt different now, the silence no longer peaceful but filled with unspoken fears. Lily’s parents, their hushed voices, the mention of moving – it all swirled in my mind like a tangled ball of yarn. But even as the worry gnawed at me, a tiny ember of hope began to glow. If Lily’s drawings held a secret, and if Professor Hoot could guide us, then perhaps, just perhaps, we could help Lily. We could make sure she didn’t have to leave her home, her laughter, her life. We were toys, yes, but we were Lily’s toys. And we would do anything for her. The adventure, it seemed, had just begun.
