The toy life of the brightville

Previously

…Barnaby Bear, the leader, the protector, the bravest of them all, took one last look at the sleeping child. She was his entire world, and he, in turn, was a small, soft piece of hers. He climbed back into his familiar spot beside her pillow, his worn button eye gazing at her with unwavering devotion. The moon continued its silent journey across the sky, and Barnaby Bear, the toy who had saved a home, settled into the peaceful stillness, his secret safe, his heart full. The adventure was over, but the memory, like the faint scent of dried flowers in an old storybook, would linger, a testament to the extraordinary life of toys.
