The Time-Traveling Tea Party

Previously

…There was a badger in a waistcoat, wringing his paws with distress. A rabbit with spectacles perched precariously on his nose was frantically consulting a pocket watch. A stately fox, his tail twitching with agitation, was pacing back and forth, muttering to himself. And perched on the edge of the table, looking utterly bewildered, was a stately owl with large, intelligent eyes. They were all… talking. And they were all looking at her, and at Barnaby, with a mixture of alarm and desperate hope. The teapot, still clutched in Lily’s hand, felt warm and seemed to hum with a contented energy, as if it had finally found its purpose. The adventure had truly begun.
