…The Foley milliy, once a lonely, misunderstood creature, was now a friend, a creator, a symbol of everything good that could bloom from the darkest of fears. And she, Emily, the girl who loved to solve mysteries, had found the greatest mystery of all – the boundless capacity for love and transformation that resided within every living being, even those cloaked in white and possessing wings of impossible scale. The snow continued to fall, a gentle blanket of peace, promising more days of harmony, more days of extraordinary magic, woven by the hands of a girl and the heart of a creature that should never have been, but was now, wonderfully, beautifully, here.
