The Starlight Princess

…He hadn't just fixed a spaceship. He hadn't just chased a comet. He’d helped a princess, a silly, clumsy, brave princess, save her kingdom. And in the process, he’d found something he hadn’t realized he was looking for: a friend. A very noisy, very accident-prone friend, but a friend nonetheless. He leaned back against the pillar, a faint, almost imperceptible, proud smile gracing his lips. The universe, it turned out, was full of surprises, even for a grumpy old mechanic.
