…As the first hint of dawn began to paint the sky outside my window in soft shades of pink and gold, we snuggled down in our sleeping bags, the earlier tension a distant memory. The argument had been a painful detour, a lesson learned the hard way. But it had also shown us just how precious our friendship was. We had faced a challenge, stumbled, and then, together, we had found our way back. And as I drifted off to sleep, the warmth of Katie’s presence beside me was a comforting anchor, a reminder that some things, like true friendship, were worth mending, one word at a time.
