…This wasn’t a deeper layer of the flat earth. This was an entirely different universe. And as I looked at the alien landscape, at the impossible sky, a terrifying realization dawned: we hadn’t reached the edge of the earth. We had fallen off the edge of everything we knew. The comforting certainty of my flat earth beliefs had shattered, replaced by the terrifying, exhilarating prospect of a universe I couldn’t even begin to comprehend. And in that moment, standing on the precipice of the unknown, I knew my journey had just truly begun. The shifting horizons were nothing compared to the shifting realities that now lay before me.
