…I stood up, my legs still a little unsteady. The forest was quiet, the only sounds the rustling of leaves and the distant call of a bird. But in my mind, the hum of the other reality still resonated. The colors, the geometries, the sheer, boundless expanse of it all. “Now,” I said, a slow smile spreading across my face, “we begin to truly understand.” The flat earth was a comforting lie, a child’s blanket. But the truth, the vast, wondrous, terrifying truth, was out there. And for the first time, I felt truly ready to embrace it. The horizon had shifted, not just in the sky, but within me. And it was no longer an edge, but an infinite invitation.
