…The seedling, nestled in the soft soil, pulsed with a determined light. The whispers in Frances’s mind grew stronger, a chorus of rustling leaves and gentle breezes, urging her forward. The Emerald Realm was calling, and for the first time, Frances felt a stirring of readiness. The fear was still there, a small, trembling bird in her chest, but it was no longer alone. Hope, bright and verdant as the seedling’s light, had begun to take root. She might be shy, she might feel ordinary, but a magical forest was in trouble, and it had chosen her. And for Frances, that was a secret too wonderful, too important, to keep to herself any longer. The journey was about to begin.
