…“Sophie, it’s me. Mia. I’m here. I found you.” Sophie’s lips trembled, and for a moment, Mia thought she might speak. But then, a shadow fell across the doorway. Mia’s head snapped up, her blood turning to ice. Standing there, his familiar, friendly face contorted into an expression of chilling, cold rage, was Liam. He held a heavy wooden club in his hand. The friendly facade had finally crumbled, revealing the monster that had lurked beneath for all these years. The mystery was solved, but the true horror had just begun.
