…He stood in a neglected corner of the vast estate, the overgrown gardens a wild, untamed space. The air was alive with the chirping of crickets and the distant hoot of an owl. He was free, but he was also alone, in the vast darkness of the night, with no clear path ahead. Yet, as he looked up at the moon, a silent, watchful eye, he felt a flicker of something he hadn’t felt in a long time: a fragile, precious hope. The journey was far from over, but for the first time in what felt like an eternity, Leo was on his way.
