Karim nodded, a genuine smile spreading across his face. A shared secret. In this hidden den, surrounded by the hushed whispers of the park, a friendship had begun to bloom, as unexpected and as precious as a rare flower. The fear that had clung to him like a shadow was starting to recede, replaced by a quiet sense of belonging. He had found a friend, and in doing so, he had found a piece of himself he thought he had lost. The adventure of England, he realised, was just beginning.
