The world was about to change, and I, Elena Vance, had just struck the first chord. I didn’t wait to see the aftermath. With a final glance at the flickering screen, at the cascading lines of code that held the world’s darkest secrets, I turned and ran. Out of the lobby, out of the building, into the dawning light of a new day. A day where the truth, no matter how painful, would finally prevail.
