…As the last rays of the setting sun bled through the canopy, casting long, distorted shadows, Ran and Lizzy stood together, two spectral figures united by a shared nightmare. The forest, once a place of peace, now felt like a labyrinth of broken lives, each rustle of leaves a whisper of a story untold, each shadow a hint of a reflection twisted. The mimic had left its mark on them, but in its relentless pursuit of perfection, it had inadvertently created something that could, perhaps, unravel its own twisted design. They were the living dead, the broken reflections, and their journey to understand the mimic had only just begun.
