…The hunter in her, the one who sought the hidden and the elusive, felt a thrill of anticipation. Her journey, the one that would lead her to her true destiny, was about to begin. She carefully folded the map, its light dimming slightly as it was no longer exposed to the open air, and tucked it securely into the worn leather pouch at her belt. The attic, with its secrets finally revealed, seemed to exhale a sigh of contentment as Elara, her eyes alight with a newfound purpose, turned and descended the creaking stairs, leaving the dust motes to settle back into their quiet slumber.
