…Lyra watched, her heart swelling with a mixture of awe and exhaustion. The process was far from over. The darkness was ancient, its hold deep. But for the first time since she had stepped into this realm, there was a tangible sense of hope. A nascent light had been ignited, a promise of dawn in the heart of eternal twilight. The forgotten world was beginning to stir. And Lyra, the girl from the scrap yard, her arm adorned with the map of the stars, was its reluctant, yet determined, reawakener. The arduous journey of restoration had just begun.
