…She had gone into the Whispering Woods seeking a simple herb, and she had returned with more than just the Moonpetal Bloom. She had returned with a test of courage, a glimpse into a hidden strength, and a tangible piece of a puzzle she was only just beginning to understand. As she walked back towards the cottage, the locket hidden beneath her dress, the shadows of the woods seemed less menacing, and the path ahead, though still uncertain, felt a little less daunting. The trial had passed, but she sensed, with a thrill that was equal parts fear and anticipation, that her true journey had only just begun.
