A man in a dark jacket stood near the edge of the park, a long lens trained on them. He lowered the camera, smirked, and raised it again. Jack’s face went pale. “We have to go. Now.” Linah grabbed Faye’s hand, and they moved quickly toward the street, Jack’s hand pressed against the small of her back, guiding her forward. The photographer followed, his footsteps echoing. They didn’t look back. But the shutter kept clicking.
