The Echo will come, but you will face it. And whatever happens, you will have lived.” He dissolved into light, and the cabin was quiet again. Lyra placed her hand on Aris’s arm. “What do we do now?” Airs looked out at the city, at the dark wave, at the fragile beauty of it all. “We find Evelyn. We talk.
