Tomorrow, we will speak of home.” He heard their footsteps fade as Lyra led Aris away. The room fell silent, save for the hum of the stabilizer and the distant pulse of the universe. TheLuckyAlien closed his eyes, and for a moment, he allowed himself to remember a time when he too had a home, a purpose, a name. But those memories were old, worn thin by aeons. He let them go, like dust scattering in the wind, and turned back to the threads that needed his care. 24
