She nodded. “That,” he said, lifting Elian onto his shoulders, “is where we’re going. Together.” They walked down the hill, the tower growing closer with every step. TheLuckyAlien felt the song in his chest, stronger than ever, woven from the threads of his love for Lyra and the new life they had created. He didn’t know what they would find at the tower’s base.
