…As the last of the soldiers disappeared into the distance, Robby felt a familiar weight settle upon his shoulders. The peace he had so carefully cultivated had been shattered, and the shadows of his past were beginning to lengthen. He had defended Oakhaven, but he knew this was just the beginning. Emmatos would not be deterred. The hunt was on, and Robby, the reluctant hero, the former Demon King, had just drawn the first, undeniable spark of his true power. The world, and his own destiny, had just shifted.
