…Angela’s heart swelled. It wasn't a thunderous miracle, no sudden cure. But it was a change, a turning of the tide. The storm outside was beginning to abate, and within the small cottage, a fragile hope was beginning to bloom. She looked at her sleeping sister, at her worried mother, and a deep sense of peace settled over her. She had returned the Infant Jesus, and perhaps, just perhaps, a little bit of His love had returned with her.
