…I looked back towards the colony, a dark scar on the Martian landscape. They thought they had won. They thought they had crushed the spirit of Lykos’ Lambda Clan. They were wrong. They had merely buried a seed, and in the barren soil of Mars, that seed was about to sprout. The rebellion had begun, not with a roar, but with a gasp for air in a freshly dug grave. I would not let Melissa’s sacrifice be in vain. I would not let my people continue to suffer. I would rise, not from the ashes of my past, but from the very ground they had tried to bury me in. And I would lead them.
