…The sun was now a fiery orb on the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and purple, a fitting backdrop for the end of one mystery and the beginning of another. He knew that finding the headband was only part of the story. The real mystery, the one that lay in how it came to be at the foot of the well, still remained. But for tonight, the King would have his royal headband, and Leo, the honest boy, would have the quiet satisfaction of a task well done. He raised his hand, the headband glinting one last time in the fading light, a silent promise of truth.
