He’d have to remember to ask Mr. Thomas about his late-night gardening habits, just in case. After all, a good officer always followed up on all leads, even the ones that seemed to sprout from the fertile imagination of a six-year-old spy. He tucked the bag into his desk drawer, a small, amused smile playing on his lips. The neighborhood was safe, and for now, that was enough.
