…The mystery of Raymond Sanner’s grocery store, the place of my childhood memories, had always held a certain charm. But this… this was different. This was a mystery that had reached out and touched me, a mystery that had unfolded before my very eyes, leaving me with more questions than answers. And as the miles stretched out before us, I knew, with a certainty that chilled me to the bone, that the echoes of that vanishing act would linger long after the dust of the road had settled. The grocery store, in its spectral form, had left an imprint, a subtle, unsettling reminder that some doors, once opened, can never truly be closed.
