…Branden, his sword still in hand, stood in the now peaceful glade, a sense of profound exhaustion and quiet triumph washing over him. He had faced the darkness, not with brute force alone, but with courage, determination, and a willingness to understand. The forest was healing, its King restored, and a fragile peace had been won. He looked towards the Sun Deer and the Guardian Owl, offering them a grateful nod. Their guidance had been invaluable, their faith in him a crucial element in this victory. The battle was won, but the journey of healing for the forest, and perhaps for himself, had just begun.
