…Willow looked back towards where the bear had disappeared. “I wonder if we’ll ever see him again.” “I hope so,” I said, my heart soaring. “I really hope so. And next time,” I added, looking at my friends, our adventure now a cherished memory, “we’ll make sure to bring him some of those sweet berries from the edge of the meadow. Just in case.” We turned towards the Sunstone Stream, the familiar path home stretching before us, our wings beating with a lighter, happier rhythm, the Whispering Woods holding a new kind of magic for us now – the magic of unexpected friendship and the quiet kindness of a gentle bear.
