THE ETHIOPIAN EUNUCH

Previously

…As the last rays of the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long, dancing shadows, the eunuch rose. He adjusted the folds of his robe, his heart filled with a quiet resolve. He had come to Jerusalem seeking, and he was leaving having found. He had been baptized in the name of Jesus, and he carried within him the indelible imprint of the Holy Spirit. His journey back to Ethiopia was not just the end of one pilgrimage, but the beginning of another, a journey of faith, a journey of witness, a journey that would, perhaps, leave an enduring legacy, a whispered echo of Christ’s love carried on the winds from the Horn of Africa, a legacy carried through time.
