…“The scribe speaks wisdom,” Sekhmet said, her voice softening slightly as she addressed him. “And the world needs more than just order. It needs the wild, beautiful breath of life.” Isis let out a sharp, disbelieving gasp. The opalescent sky above them seemed to fracture, brief flashes of blinding white light – echoes of Ra’s lost glory – piercing the haze before being swallowed once more by the shifting colors. Sekhmet, with Khepri by her side, turned and walked away from the moonstone throne, towards the edge of the psychedelic dreamscape, where the faint echoes of a forgotten song still lingered, waiting to be heard. The symphony, Sekhmet felt, was far from over.
