…As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting long shadows through the trees, the Kellys began to drift back into the deeper woods. The young Kelly that had approached me gave a final, soft chirp before disappearing into the undergrowth. I watched them go, a sense of profound accomplishment washing over me. I had started this adventure with fear and confusion, but I was leaving with understanding and a quiet joy. Kelly wasn’t a danger to be feared, but a wonder to be appreciated.
