…He watched, his heart a leaden weight in his chest, as the man in the off-white garment gestured towards a vast, churning pit. It was a gruesome tableau, a testament to unimaginable cruelty. Piles of bodies, stripped bare of their humanity and their earthly coverings, lay in grotesque heaps. They were the collected remnants of all nations, the young and the old, the innocent and the lost, all reduced to this horrifying state. “We will crush them,” the voice, devoid of any warmth, echoed through the desolate expanse. “Burn their heads. Fry them. Play soccer with them. Cook them. Throw them into the fire.” The accompanying chorus of demonic laughter and revelry was a cacophony
