…They swarmed over the fleeing people, their tiny fangs sinking into flesh, their multiplying numbers overwhelming any chance of escape. Kenneth watched, paralyzed by terror, as the world dissolved into a nightmare of devouring serpents. He was alone, the sole survivor on a path of utter destruction, with the pregnant snake and its ravenous brood relentlessly pursuing him. The vision, once a terrifying spectacle, was now a personal, inescapable hunt. The off-white garment, the tortured souls, the contracts – they were all fading, replaced by the primal terror of being hunted by a monstrous, multiplying evil.
