Beside her, Mom looked a little worried, but her gaze was fixed on Leo with a look of pure relief. “Mom!” Leo cried, running to her and clinging to her legs. Mom knelt down, pulling him into a tight hug. “Oh, Leo! We were so worried! Where did you go?” Buster, still buzzing with excitement, nudged Leo’s hand with his nose, then looked up at Mrs. Gable, as if to say, “See? I found him!” Mrs. Gable chuckled
