…He walked to the small window, looking out at the moonlit village. The Crown of Whispers was a heavy thing to bear, a constant reminder of loss and of a future fraught with uncertainty. But as he stood there, the cool night air on his face, he felt a new strength bloom within him. He was no longer just Kael, the orphan, the refugee. He was Kael, the Chief Priest, the keeper of the Crown, the protector of this village. And he would face whatever lay ahead, guided by the whispers, driven by the need to uncover the truth, and armed with the quiet courage that had grown from the ashes of his past. The path ahead was shrouded in mist, but for the first time, Kael felt ready to walk it.
