…I stepped out into the bright sunlight, the scent of aged wood and lavender still clinging to me. My heart felt lighter, yet also a little heavier. I had met Leo, the guardian of lost things, and in his guarded eyes, I had glimpsed something that both fascinated and intrigued me. The crimson thread, I felt, had begun to weave its way, a delicate, almost invisible strand, between us. And I knew, with a certainty that settled deep within my bones, that I would be back. The shop, and its enigmatic owner, had captured my attention, and my heart, in a way I hadn’t anticipated. The silence of the shop had been broken, and a new melody, fragile and full of promise, had begun to play.
