…I stood up, my resolve hardening with each beat of my heart. I knew what I had to do. I had to go back. I had to confront Leo, not with anger or accusations, but with the raw, unfiltered truth of my own feelings. I had to be brave enough to lay my heart bare, to show him that I wasn’t afraid of his past, that I was willing to face it with him, if only he would let me. I had to remind him of the spark that had ignited between us, the spark that had the potential to ignite a flame. I turned, and with a newfound determination, began to walk back towards the warm, inviting glow of his antique shop, towards the man who held a piece of my heart.
