The Courageous Little Tugboat

…He was still Tuggy, the little tugboat. But he was also Tuggy, the brave tugboat. He had faced his fear, and he had proven himself. He knew now that even the smallest among them could make the biggest difference. And as he watched the big ships prepare to set sail once more, he didn't feel envious. He felt ready. Ready for whatever the bay, or the world, might throw at him. He was a small tugboat, yes, but he was a hero, and that was a much bigger feeling than he had ever imagined. The captains continued to nod and wave, their admiration a warm current flowing towards him. Tuggy gave a final, confident toot, a sound that promised many more adventures to come.
