…Captain Bigship’s gruff voice crackled over the radio, not with his usual commands, but with a tone Tuggy had never heard before. “Well done, Tuggy. That was some fine seamanship. You handled that storm with real courage.” Tuggy’s engine purred, a sound of pure joy. He looked up at the colossal ship, at Captain Bigship’s imposing figure on the bridge, and for the first time, he didn’t feel small. He felt proud. He knew now that even though he was a little tugboat, he had a big engine, a brave heart, and the courage to be a hero.
