…"Thank you, Tuggy!" he called out, his voice thick with emotion. "You saved us! You really did!" Tuggy, catching his breath, managed a weak toot. He looked back out at the bay, at the storm still raging, at the big ships still struggling. He was still small. He was still a little tugboat. But he had done something. He had been a hero. And as he watched Fiona settle into the safer waters, a new feeling began to replace the fear: pride. A quiet, warm, triumphant pride.
