As the party spun deeper into the night, Angel Solis shimmered nearby, her deep voice a comfort only Ed could hear. "The more you share your hope, the more your own heart returns." Above the music and cheering, Ed squeezed Layia’s hand. "Tomorrow’s our day, little warrior," he promised. And under the lantern light, hope glowed even brighter.
