…The First Spell’s echoes were no longer just whispers or dreams. They were a part of me, a constant, undeniable presence. I had chosen a path of containment, of peace, but the knowledge of what I could do, of the immense power that lay dormant within, was a burden I would carry forever. The future stretched before me, a blank map, and I, the cartographer of my own destiny, was left to chart an unknown course, forever changed by the magic I had encountered, and the choices I had made. The dawn was breaking, but it was an uncertain dawn, painted with the hues of a power I was only beginning to understand.
