She was Luna, my Luna, and the strength she had shown, the resilience she had displayed, had not only saved the pack, but had solidified my own resolve. The path ahead was still uncertain, the conspiracy still lurking in the shadows, but for the first time since she had arrived, I felt a profound sense of peace. We had passed the test. Our bonds had been tested, and they had not broken. They had, in fact, grown stronger. And as the sun’s rays finally broke through the canopy, bathing the clearing in warm, golden light, I knew, with an absolute certainty, that our journey together had truly just begun.
