…My heart hammered against my ribs, a wild, erratic beat. The scent of sandalwood and vanilla seemed to intensify, filling my lungs, my mind, my very soul. Was this it? Had the Moon Goddess finally answered my silent pleas, or had she set me on a path fraught with peril? The mystery of Ori, the whispers of prophecy, the unsettling aura of danger that clung to her… it was all a tangled web, and I was caught in its silken threads, with no clear way out.
